Howdy!

 

Hi, I’m Sydney! I’m a Boston-based photographer with a passion for both digital and film photography. I officially launched my business in August 2022, and each day I find myself even more in love with what I do.


Photography has been my passion since middle school, though at the time, I never dreamed it would turn into a career. After graduating from The University of Oklahoma in 2018 with a degree in Public Relations, I found myself diving into the world of 9-5 office jobs, only to quickly realize that desk life wasn’t for me. I had no idea what my next step would be, but I knew I needed something different. In 2022, I was still using my camera for fun when someone asked me how much I’d charge to take their photos. That’s when it clicked—this could actually be something more. After a few paid shoots, I realized I wasn’t just capturing memories for fun anymore; this could really be my career. What amazed me even more was how it didn’t feel like work at all. It felt like I was running around Boston, capturing beautiful moments with strangers who quickly became friends.


Since then, photography has evolved from a passion to a fulfilling career, and I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to do what I love every day. Each session is a chance to connect with wonderful people, and I truly appreciate every moment spent capturing your unique stories. It’s an honor to turn these moments into lasting memories. My goal is to blend your unique vision with my style, creating images that you'll treasure for years to come. I can’t wait to bring your story to life through my lens!

If I'm not taking photos, I'm probably ordering takeout sushi and binge watching Netflix. I love a good mystery novel and crime podcast, but can only listen to them during the daytime. You will NOT catch me watching a scary movie under any circumstances.

One of my favorite parts of this job is taking people (especially those not comfortable in front of the camera) and making you feel seen and confident. I want you to adore your photos for years to come, and I believe you actually enjoying the experience of taking them will make you love them even more.

I met my husband in 2019 the old fashioned way (aka on Hinge). We both have non-traditional jobs, with him being a rugby coach, so we take full advantage of off seasons and travel the world. He is from new zealand and we've been lucky enough to go back for a couple months every year. It has become my second home and the calmness balances out the chaos of boston perfectly.

She shot my city hall wedding for me and my pictures are a dream come true.
